6-05-2009    President Obama visited Buchenwald, the former Nazi concentration camp.*

Lets hope, that he does not get any ideas. Buchenwald was after all, made possible by a elected socialist politician who grabbed control of the  economy. Private property rights were trampled. Bigots and racists were nominated to the courts.   Just like in the US in 2009.

* Obama had earlier read off his teleprompter that his uncle had liberated Auschwitz.    Middle school geography is not Obama's strong suite. (He has claimed to have campaigned in 57  states!) Obama did not know that  Auschwitz is in Poland, which during W.W.II was occupied by Germany and the Soviet Union in that order. As Obama's uncle denied belonging to the German or Soviet army, Obama, after getting some help, changed his story and is presently claiming that his uncle helped to liberate Buchenwald. (Then again if he visits Poland he could switch back to Auschwitz.)

Obama's tall tales combined with  ignorance reminds us of another such case involving his secretary of state. Hillary Clinton was visiting New Zealand and claimed in an television interview that her parents had named her Hillary to honor the famous New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary. One must admit that Hillary Clinton's parents must have had extraordinary foresight or even clairvoyance.  Edmund Hillary was an unknown bee keeper when our Secretary of State got her name. It was only seven years later that he became world famous after he and Tenzing Norgay were the first to climb, or at least return alive from reaching the top of Mount Everest.

5-24-2011 President Obama, our Embarrassment in Chief visited Great Britain.

First President Obama signed the Westminster Abbey's visitor's book.  The date he wrote down was off a few years. Should our president be better informed about what year it is?  I would go for a thorough mental check up if   I had lost contact with reality.

The same day he kept on  babbling away about Shakespeare when the British national anthem was played. The queen was embarrassed, because usually people stand quietly when national anthems are played. Apparently they had no lessons in classy behavior at the  community organizing school.
